A5 crossroads in Shropshire closed off after late night crash
Part of the A5 was closed in Shropshire due to a serious crash.
Police urged motorists to find an alternative route following the collision at about 11.10pm on Wednesday.
It happened at the A5 crossroads with the B4397 at Shotatton, between West Felton and Nesscliffe.
The area was completely closed off to other traffic by officers.
West Mercia Police said the road opened again shortly before midnight.
